GREENS – greens, and more greens.

As part of the Dr Oz show segment with Dr Furhman on G-BOMBS: Superfoods for Weight Loss and Longevity, G-BOMBS (Greens, Beans, Onions, Mushrooms, Berries and Seeds) are the foods with the most powerful anti-cancer and anti-fat storage effects. Those dual effects cannot be separated because the foods that protect against fat storage also protect against the growth of any abnormal tissue, such as a tumor.

I really enjoy the variety of packaged salads – my favorite lunch is a whole wheat wrap with either lean ham, chicken or salmon, lots of fresh greens and either avocado, low fat mayonnaise or Laughing Cow cheese wedges.
