Week 3 – Day 1

Loosing only 10% of your current weight can add years to your life. On easy step to help this occur is to swap soda with water. To shed pounds easily, start with good ol’ H2O. One study found that replacing high-calorie drinks (soda, juice, lattes) with water, tea or seltzer helped people lose weight. In fact, without making any other lifestyle changes, participants lost four or five pounds in just six months.

My hardest part of this is to forego my morning cream in my coffee. I’ve never been one to drink black coffee, therefore I pretty much have given up coffee and focus more on teas. When I do indulge in coffee, I add regular milk instead of half and half or cream; It doesn’t taste quite the same, but it does make me feel better about drinking coffee.
